He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Garner Newman and Alta Mae Woolley (Shropshire); his wife Donna Newman; his son Chris Newman; his siblings, Betty Ruth Newman and George Winfred Newman; his parents-in-law, Otho B. and Lois Williams; and his brother Jack Newman (Joyce).
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Melton (Shawn) of McAlester; his grandchildren, Christian Melton (Baley) and Micah Melton (Jaden); his sisters-in-law, Joy Gattenby (Elvin) and Linda LaSua; and his nieces, Debbie MckInley, Sherri Painter and Pam Bond. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
