He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Chester Kerl and Josephine Kerl (Baldwin). He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Kerl (Heimbuch); his sons, James Scott Kerl and Jeff Larry Kerl (Karen); his grandchildren, Stephen, Katherine and Emma; his brother John Kerl (Pam); his nephew John Kerl, Jr.; his goddaughter Colleen O'Brien; and also Ardan.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel (528 S 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501).
