He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Montgomery and Cordelia Montgomery (Gibson); his daughter Sharon Marie Montgomery; his wife Billie M. Montgomery; and his siblings, Delpha and Charles, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Montgomery, Jr. (Cindy) of McAlester, Don Montgomery (Samantha) of Hugo and Joy Semtner (Richard) of Hartshorne; and his grandchildren, Shelly Davy (Steve), Angela Voeller (Matt), Heather Johnson (Joseph), Jimmy Dale Montgomery (Renee), Jessica Kaye Miller (Wes) and Jordan White. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; other family members and friends.
