He was predeceased by: his parents, C. B. Lee Nix and Elizabeth Ann Crofford; and his sibling Arvie Wayne. He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Marie Nix and Tamara Lee Nix Salyers (Anthony David Salyers); his grandchildren, Madalyn Lee Nix, Joshua Johnnie Nix, Caden David Salyers, Treyton Ray Salyers, Hunter Lee Salyers and Malik Laurent; and his siblings, Retta Ann Nix Hulsey, Richard Nix, Charles Nix, Donnie Nix, Tommy Nix and Mona Nix.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lakewood Christian Church (840 S George Nigh Expy, McAlester, OK 74501).
