It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita (Armstrong) McClellan of McAlester, Oklahoma, born in Hanna, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Armstrong and Cordia Armstrong (Cox); her husband Rev. Bill McClellan; and her grandmother Walters (Sylvia Duke). She is survived by: her children, Randy McClellan and Deborah "Jan"; her son-in-law Philip Phillips; her brother Larry; her sister-in-law Karen Armstrong; her grandchildren, Chris Phillips, Jeremiah Phillips and Heather (Dennis Nelms); her great grandchildren, Kade Phillips, Kyle Phillips, Heaven Phillips, Delise Phillips and Serine Phillips; and her friend Mary Wingo. She is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

“It's been quite a while since I've seen Juanita. We used to drop by for a visit when in McAlester for family gathering s. One of my fondest memories is the time when I was about 8. Bill and Juanita and my dad Troy and mom Dorothy and I walked across the South Canadian River ( before Lake Eufaula) from Juanita's parents to Canadian where we lived. We were all so happy and carefree. My condolences and best wishes to all! Roy Dudark”
