He is survived by: his wife Robyn Sumter; his children, Dustin Nash (Viola) of McAlester, Christa Hanks of Collinsville, Caitlyn Hanks (Dalston Vasquez) of Oilton and Valerie Hinton (Allan) of McAlester; his grandchildren, Aubree Nash, Haylee Hendrix, Jayse Hanks, Greyson Vasquez, Olivia Vasquez, Lacey Lee and Zachary Rogers; his great grandchild William Nichols; his siblings, Connie Obendorf of Virginia, Catherine Van Slyke of Indiana, Richard Sumter of Idaho, Ronald Sumter of Arkansas and Cynthia Sumter of Arkansas; and his siblings' children, Dennis Van Slyke of Texas, Meghan Rollin of Virginia, Andrea Sumter of Idaho and Steven Sumter of Idaho. He is also survived by two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
