She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Thompson and Florence Thompson (VanHoozer); her children, Leslie Sauer-Verner and Michael Sauer; and her grandparents, William VanHoozer, Cora VanHoozer, Sharon, Joe Thompson and Jewell Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Lackey; her grandson Michael Verner (Hailey); her great grandchildren, Ryatt and Ridge Verner; her grandchildren, Nicholas Verner (Adelyn) and Lane Verner (Mackenzie); her great grandchildren, Kash Thompson and Kennedy Verner; her sister Bobbie; her siblings-in-law, Johnny Ball, Gerry Shephard and Kevin Lackey; and her sibling's children, Sumer Ball, Jeff Ball and Jason Ball. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
