He was predeceased by: his father Willie Cargill; and his grandparents, Jessie, Essie Terry, Pop and Quillie Cargill.

He is survived by: his mother Lola Cargill-Wilson (Terry) of Krebs; his wife Karen Sue Cargill (McPherson) of Tannehill; his son Tracy; his daughter-in-law Shawna Cargill of Tannehill; his daughter Shelley; his son-in-law Kevin Bargas of McAlester; his grandchildren, Tanner Cargill, Bailey Cargill, Stormie Cargill, Chelsey Stidham, Ritchey Bargas, Juniper Bargas, Zoen Bargas and Marainya Bargas; his brother Wallace; his sister-in-law Gail Cargill of Haywood; his sisters, Gloria (Ron West), Ark and Joyce Cravins (Joyce Wallis) of Texas; and his sisters-in-law, Dyanna, Thomas Wilson of Nashoba and Lana McPherson of Haywood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
