With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Allen Hood (McAlester, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hood and Rita Bohreer (Bohreer); and his sister Melinda Hess. He is survived by: his children, Tammie Hackler (Glen Jr.), Todd Barker and Sara Cruncleton (John); his grandchildren, Keaton Hackler, Kyndall Hackler and Lottie Cruncleton; his sister Kathy Barkalow (Gary); his sibling's children, Steve Jean (Teresa), Troy Mackie (Kelly) and Leslie Stricker (Cory); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kayla Jean (Gavyn Miller), Dr. Steven Jean, Christian Mackie, Levi Mackie, Chelsea Wheeler, Nick Wheeler and Alex Wheeler; his close friends, Brenda Montgomery and Bobby Watkins; and his pet Siamese. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory (110 S 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bishop Chapel of Memories (110 S 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501).
