He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Muse and Ella Muse (Gray); his great grandchild Braylon Goulette; and his siblings, Theodore Muse, James Junior Muse, Jack Hardy, Hester Muse, Oleta Hiatt, Olean Evans, Beulah Kitchens, Oletha Knight and Emma Faulk.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Muse; his children, Gena Ward (Muse), David, Eddie Muse, Gwen, Janice Cornwell, Lisa Johnston and Chris; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Hebert, Kirk Muse, Derrick Ward, Devin Ward, Amber Barnhill, Joey Barnhill, Christian Barnhill and Rhyan Johnston. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
