She was predeceased by: her parents, E. L. "Nood" Sennett and Ethel Sennett (Rhodes); her husband Paul Dee Kennedy; her siblings, Earline Sennett, Mary Collier, E. L. Sennett and Jerry Sennett; and her son-in-law Kenneth A. Bethune.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Bethune; her granddaughters, Katie Ann Potter (Thaxal) and Emily Alyn Smith (Darnell); her great grandchildren, Caybree Potter, Addisyn Potter, Jameson Potter and Darnell Smith, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Lumae Sennett. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Kenneth Bethune Scholarship Fund at the Bank NA in honor of Zelda Kennedy.
