He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Morris "Charlie" Roson and Doretha Louise Roson (Moore); his son Tony Rivers; his wife Mary Virginia Roson (Melton); his siblings, Charles Roson, Larry Roson, Kenneth Roson, Hazel Cline, Jane Ingram and Virginia Jamerson; and his brother-in-law John Ward.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristy Rodgers (Chris) of Idabel, OK, Adennia Rivers of Bossier City, LA, Angela Cooper of Forney, TX and Alisha Rivers of Idabel, OK; his grandchildren, Tayler Roson, Christina Smith, Nate Parnell, Faith Brantley, Riley Rivers, Dewayne Osterdock, Whitney Rivers, Starr Brantley, Cody Rivers and David Rosson; his siblings, Donnie Roson and Linda Ward (John); the mother of his child Debbie Parker; and his sister-in-law Louise Roson. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
