In loving memory of Butch Higdon of McLoud, Oklahoma, who departed this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 83. Butch leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. As we bid adieu to Butch's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Butch has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Higdon and Lelon Higdon. He is survived by: his brothers, Paul Higdon (Jane) of McLoud, OK and Gary Higdon (Beverly) of Mustang, OK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Walker Funeral & Cremation Service (201 E 45th St, Shawnee, OK 74804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McLoud Church of Christ (301 S 8th St, McLoud, OK 74851).
