He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess James Black and Mary Ellen Black; his former wife Jo Ann; his wife Virgie; his siblings, Willard Black, Jesse Allen Black, John Lewis Black, James Leonard Robertson, Betty Jo Black, Ruby Leota Black and Dorothy Louise Black; and his children, Doyle Black (Amanda) and Jerri Black.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Little Doyle, William Magruder, Victoria Magruder, Jacob Magruder, Katie Black and Doyle Lovoyd Black III; and his siblings, Eddie Black, Jerry Black, Jesse Robertson, Erma Pursley and Sharon Moore. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
