It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lucille Cooksey of McLoud, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd O. Schlosser and Dorothy M. Schlosser (Arnold); her husband Walter D. Cooksey; her brothers, Lloyd and Donald Schlosser; and her daughter Ruth Annette Cooksey.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Cooksey of McLoud, Kathy (Mike Beaucourt) of Yukon, Mary Lankford of McLoud, Carol Langston of Wellston, Teresa Moon of McLoud and Sharon (Jim Thomas) of Harrah; and her grandchildren, Michael B, Michael, Wendy, Jennifer, Darrell, Chance, Jessica, Tyler, Kayla and Alyx. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
