With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Dodson Sr. of Medicine Park, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James R Dodson and Lois Wharton Dodson; his brother Roscoe Dewitt Dodson; his in-laws, Loy and Alleen Tucker; and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd, Floyd Tucker and Frankie VanMeter.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Dodson; his children, Edward "Marshell" Dodson Jr. and Heather (Travis Vanden Brink); his sister Threasie Hunyadi; and his grandson James Travis Vanden Brink.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home (632 SW C Ave, Lawton, OK 73501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
