She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Britt and Helen Britt (Minnix); her brother James Britt; her husband Bob Melrose; and her grandchildren, Amy Melrose and Jeff Melrose.
She is survived by: her friend Billies; her children, Butch Melrose (Anita Marie) of Wellston, Jim Melrose (Anita Jane) of Missouri and Barbara Hoots (John) of Wellston; her grandchildren, Bryan Melrose, Carrie Manning (Mark), Laura Melrose, Bethany Smith (Randy), Andrea Hoots, Robert Hoots (Sarah) and Shannon Hoots (J. J. Walker); and her sister Marsha Raper of Georgia. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; twin great-great-grandchildren.
