He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kirk Goodwin of Cherokee, Oklahoma, Ray and Laura Thompson of Fairview, Oklahoma; and his uncle Klay Goodwin of Cherokee, Oklahoma.. He is survived by: his wife Amy Thompson; his children, Paige Metheny, Ethan Thompson (MeKenna) and Logan Thompson; his grandsons, Weston, Mason Eastman and Hudson Metheny; his parents, Steve Thopmson and Kirsten Thopmson; his brother Jared Thompson (Becky); his nieces and nephews, Kolton, Kadence and Jaxton Thompson; and his grandmother Marilyn Goodwin of Cherokee, Oklahoma.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Faith Center Fellowship (201 S Meno Ave, Meno, OK 73760).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Fairview Funeral Home.
