He is survived by: his children, Greg Forbus of Dallas, Michael Ray Forbus of Lawton, Oklahoma and Rachell Byrd of Hugo, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Cameron, Wyatt, Brook, Lindsey, Kolby, Karson, McKenzie and Eathon; his brothers, Ray Forbus of Joplin and Larry Forbus of Hugo, Oklahoma; Mary Sue Mullins of Powderly, Texas..

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
