He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mahurin (Henson); his children, Jeff Mahurin (Sherri) of Miami, Danny Mahurin (Charlotte) of Anderson, Kathy "Cassie" Lusker (Chris) of Enterprise and Wesley Mahurin (Sarah) of Miami; and his siblings, Anita Wagoner of Fairland, Shirley Wilmoth of Grove, Melvin Mahurin of Wyandotte and Richard Mahurin of Chouteau.
