He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Gene and Eva Daniels (Leatherman); his stepmother Bonnie Cheater; and his siblings, Mickey Leatherman and Judy Sharbutt.
He is survived by: his wife Celinda Darlene Cheater (Thomas); his stepsons, Johnny LaRue of Peoria, OK and Wesley LaRue (Autumn) of McKinney, TX; his brother Robert Cheater (Kerri) of Miami, OK; his stepsisters, Diane King of Miami, OK and Teresa Hargis of Horseheads, NY; and his stepgranddaughter Faith LaRue.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Miami (1432 B St NW, Miami, OK 74354).
