Billy Gene Womack Obituary

Billy Gene Womack, 77 of Miami, OK passed from this life on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.

Bill was born October 24, 1945 in rural Southwest City, MO to the union of Clyde Allen Womack and Cecil (Church) Womack. Bill was united in marriage to Edna Marie (Long) Womack in 1965. Bill served in the United States Navy from August 1965 – August 1969. He worked as an electrician for Miami Armature for seven years, before going to work at Eagle Picher retiring in 2011 after thirty-five years. Bill was a member of the First Christian Church, Miami, OK. He enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his family.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; wife Edna Womack; daughter, Terre Womack.

Bill is survived by one son Bill Womack and Pam of Quapaw, OK; brother, Mark Womack of Republic, MO; four grandchildren, Jess Womack, Casey Womack, Noah Womack, and Jacob Spears.

Bill has been entrusted to Derfelt's Baxter Chapel for cremation. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
