He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Olson; his grandson Jody Glen Olson; and his siblings, Ronnie Joe Garrett (Brenda) of Miami, Marvin Garrett (Linda) of Wyandotte, Jerry Garrett (Martha) of Afton and Marlene Johnson of Gillette, Wyoming..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service (5 B St NW, Miami, OK 74354). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery of Afton.
