He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Blades and Louise McClellan; and his brother Danny Blades. He is survived by: his children, Larry Blades (Sherry), Janet Blades, Patty Ward, Terry Blades and David Davis (Jennifer); his sister Anna Taylor; and his grandchildren, Johnny Surratte, Charlotte Owens, James Blades, Christina Blades, CJ Ward, Jesse Ward, Jordan Davis, Haydan Davis and Harper Davis. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
