George Nolan Couch Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Nolan Couch Jr. of Miami, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nolan and Almeda Couch, Sr. (Keener); and his siblings, Everett Couch, Elmer Couch, Jim Couch and Elsie Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Candy Couch; his sons, Chris Couch (Sheila) of Joplin, MO, Mike Couch of Miami, OK and Nolan Couch (Taylor) of Miami, OK; his grandchildren, Ashlee Couch and Nathan Couch (Nichole Wilson); and his sons, Camden Couch and Corbin Couch.
One of George's greatest contributions to Miami was founding the "A-Team," a volunteer group that cooked and served thousands of meals for civic organizations for approximately 40 years.
