He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Merriman and Peggy Merriman (Blackburn); and his brother Roger Merriman. He is survived by: his wife Lori Merriman (Dohlman) of Fairland; his stepgranddaughter Kaitlyn; his daughter Kaitlyn Hofschulte; his son-in-law Chris Hofschulte of Miami; his son Hoot Hoskin; his daughter-in-law Erin Hoskin of Ada; his brother Christie Merriman; his sister-in-law Sherry of Atwood; and his grandchildren, Halee, Lottie Hofschulte, Trystan and KayDee Hoskin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service (101 W Conner Ave, Fairland, OK 74343). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (2424 N Main St, Miami, OK 74354).
