He is survived by: his wife Fay Florence Thiesing; his daughter Jenna Thiesing Vaughn; his grandsons, Conner (Jayme Vaughn) and Cory Vaughn; his former wife Melinda Wilson Watterson; his stepchildren, Melissa (Dusty Bekemeier) and Juli (Jeff Ridgway); his grandchildren, Jack (Grace Ridgway Charlie) and Meredith McQueeney; his sister Nova Thiesing Lansdale; Scott Vaughn.
