He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin H Davis and Patty W. Austin (Curtis); his son Chad Davis; and his brother Butch Davis. He is survived by: his children, Derrick Davis (Aleksandra) of Philadelphia and Megan Davis of Miami; his brother Gary Davis; and his grandchildren, Forrest Davis and Hestan Davis. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Lynn's smile was contagious when he talked about his family, being a butcher and playing golf. It was a true blessing to have the opportunity to know him, even when he didn't feel well.”
