He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Bowers (Betts) of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; his wife Jeanette Betts; his children, Jennifer Trease (Chad) of Commerce, Oklahoma, Cindy Pulido (Jesus) of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Kristen Roberts (Nathan) of Commerce, Oklahoma, Joseph Savage Jr. (Katy) of Gentry, Arkansas and Bethany Betts of Neosho, Missouri; and his brothers, Rob Betts, Jeff Betts and Chris Betts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital for cancer research.
