He is survived by: his wife Louise Lachance; his children, Donald Lachance Jr. (Nancy), John Lachance (Vivian), Terry Fortelney (Leo), Claire Voyles (Bill Charles), Pauline Danna (Billy) and Susan Ledet (Doug); his son-in-law Tom Smith; and his brothers, Lionel Lachance and Maurice Lachance. He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
