He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Boatwright and Mary Emily Boatwright; his siblings, Leona Lawler, Hollis Boatwright, Chester Boatwright and Ivan Boatwright; his former wife Mary Elizabeth; his daughters, Carolyn Wickey and Patty Tracy; and his stepson Donnie Gorden.

He is survived by: his children, Roy Allen Boatwright (Joyce) and Tamera Duncan. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Barnes Friederich & Pope Funeral Home (1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
