He is survived by: his wife Lona Mae Salyer Witherspoon; his sister Judy Witherspoon Oehlsehlager; his niece Kerry Egdor Schenke (Scott Schenke); his nephew Eric Egdorf (Tamara Madden); and his cousins, David Witherspoon, Clinton Witherspoon, Charles Semple, Bob Semple and Billy Witherspoon.
