We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2026, at the age of 74, James Hellums (Midwest City, Oklahoma), born in Sterling, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Lou Hinch and Zolen Hinch; and his former wife Gloria Hellums. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Hellums; his children, Athena Lovelace (Brad), Billy Hellums (Shawnon), David Hellums (Tara) and Steven Hellums (Valinda); his stepson Kody Bowman; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alyxandria, Clara, Noel, Bradley, Ty, Tanner, Molly, Ollie, Ally, Cheyenne, Olivia and Aspen; and his sister Anita Dicks.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Barnes Friederich & Pope Funeral Home (1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130).
