He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Barton and William Wesley Barton; his siblings, Don Barton and Mary Blue; Ester Lockhart Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Annett Barton; his children, Larry Barton (Andrea), Laura Sloan (Martin) and Darrel Barton (Pam); his grandchildren, Tiffany Shinkle (Luke), Nicole Mullins (Tyler), Chris Barton (Nicole) and Jonathan Barton; and his great grandchildren, Nicolas, Emory, Everett, Kennedy, Ellie and Payton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barnes Friederich & Pope Funeral Home (1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Liberty Christian Church (1121 S Post Rd, Midwest City, OK 73130).
