Otis V. Moody Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Otis V. Moody (Midwest City, Oklahoma), born in Farmers Branch, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 83. Though Otis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Otis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his brother Raymond; and his half-sister Frances. He is survived by: his wife Carla Layton; his sister Beverly; and his children, Raymond, Toni and Paul. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barnes Friederich Funeral Home (1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (100 N Indian Meridian Rd, Choctaw, OK 73020).
