We announce the death of Robert Ellison Owensby of Midwest City, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 84. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Owensby and Maulcie Ishler (Buchanan). He is survived by: his wife Della Kathleen Allen Owensby; his children, Kelly Owensby, Scott Owensby, Jessica McKune, Allen Roberts (Gabrielle Roberts) and Nicole Roberts (Russ Roberts); his grandchildren, Kacey Owensby, Brock Owensby, Brooklyn Walker, Holly, Alexander, Catherine, Emily, Ben, Andrea, Megan and Isaac; and his great grandchildren, Blair Owensby, Aiden Walker, Hayley, Julia, Colben, Oliver, Liam, Henry, Bentley, George, Christopher, Felicity, Arthur, Theo, Finn and Canyon.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fairlawn Cemetery.
