He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Cunning and Velma Cunning; his siblings, Joyce and Butch (Linda); and his son Stephen.

He is survived by: his siblings, Vickie, Larry, Lynda, Lunetta, Sandy, Nina and Tena; and his children, Timothy, Kimberly, Brian, Daniel, Jennifer, Christopher and Courtney. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Absolute Economical Funeral Home Chapel (7721 NW 10th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73127). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Life Church (9001 Broadway Ext, Oklahoma City, OK 73127). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Seaman First Class Billy Turner Veterans Cemetery (1555 Myall St, Ardmore, OK 73401).
