He is survived by : his wife Beverly Gassmann (Alberry); his children, Everett Gassmann (Trang), MyThu and Nafis Gassmann (Nader Travino); his grandson Griffin; his great grandchild Morgan Gassmann; his stepsons, Brent Carter, Brad and Kennly Carter (Osato); his stepgrandchildren, Ethan, Julian, Aurora, Ben Carter, Athena, Bryce, Blake, Leah (Gonzales), Daxon and Dezlynn; his siblings, Ruth Gassmann, Nick and Ada Gassmann; his niece Dawn; his nephews, Jeff Martinez and Karl Gassmann (Michelle); and his sisters-in-law, Donna McGee and Yvonne (Chuck Aldridge). He is also survived by 2 nephews and 6 nieces.
