He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kenneth, Cathy Carter, William and Betty Whalen; his uncle David Carter; his aunt Cindy Caldwell; his great-aunts, Billie Hutchison, Judy Angle, Susan Rabenseifner and Lola French; and his great-uncle Bob Carter.
He is survived by: his parents, Gary F. Whalen and Ruby E. Whalen (Carter); his brothers, Justin of Valley Center, KS and Andrew (Hannah) of Shawnee, OK.; his aunts, Barbara Kinney (Robert) of Milburn, OK and Linda Brown (David) of Mt Airy, NC; his great-aunts, Jerri Standifer of Tishomingo, OK and Topper Martin of Weatherford, TX.; and his uncles, Paul Carter of Emet, OK, Mike Carter of Alamogordo, N. M., James Whalen of Rowlett, TX and Bill Whalen of Las Cruces, NM..
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM.
