He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Murphy and Irene Murphy (Roberson); his wife Lenda Murphy; his children, Dennis Murphy and Shelley Murphy; and his brother Dan Murphy.
He is survived by: his sons, Sean Murphy (Amy) and Richard Murphy (Christina); his grandchildren, Jayden Murphy, Theo Murphy, Dominique Murphy, Shelly Murphy, Carolyn Murphy and Abigail Murphy; and his brother Derek Murphy. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
