He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis "Curly" Bowerman and Orbie "Tiny" Young; his sister Wanda Couch; his wife Peggy Bowerman; his daughters, Tonia Hammond and Tina Manek; and his sons-in-law, Gary Hammond and Cary Manek.

He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Janis Booton and Ernie; and his grandchildren, Logan Fodge, Seth Hammond, Kellen, Cloie Manek and Brady Manek. He is also survived by nephews, nieces.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (2301 E Indian Hills Rd, Norman, OK 73071). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southern Hills Baptist Church (8601 S Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159).
