She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hames and Retta Hames; her husband Walter Edward Tibbs; her stepdaughter Sue Spriggs; her sister Sharon Bucy; and her sister-in-law Reta Hames.
She is survived by: her children, Judy L. Boatman (Howard) of Moore and Edward H. Tibbs (Sheri) of Norman; her grandsons, Steven Boatman, Eddie Tibbs (Justyne), John Boatman, Justin Tibbs (Emily) and Jeff Spriggs; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Hope Tibbs, Ian Edward Tibbs and Natalie Ann Tibbs; and her brother Leroy Hames. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous cherished friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Love Christian Center (1000 N Kennedy Ave, Shawnee, OK 74801). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (2301 E Indian Hills Rd, Norman, OK 73071).
