He is survived by: his friend Patricia Simpson; his wife Pat; his sons, Joe III (Kelly) of Norman, Jon (Candace) of Noble and Jeff (Cathy) of Norman; his grandchildren, Joshua Johnston (Abby) of Norman, Jordan Harvey (Chance) of Oklahoma City, Jessalyn Chavez (Christian) of Oklahoma City, Juliet Williams (Jacob) of Colorado Springs, Brooklyn Spor (Jordan) of Norman, Jacob Johnston (Jaimie) of Moore, Honor Johnston and Hattie Johnston of Norman; his great grandchildren, Joel Johnston, Mia Johnston, Adeline Johnston, Lillian Johnston, Coulter Spor, Titus Williams, Evelyn Harvey, Ezekiel Chavez, Isela Chavez, Freyja Williams, Samuel Harvey, Alora Spor and Lucille Johnston; his sister Peggy Record of Pelham, Alabama; and his sister-in-law Ruby Maynard of Kingfisher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A reception will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Ireland and Son Funeral Home & Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160).
