She was predeceased by: her son Steven Dale Wheeler; her parents, Theo Ethridge and Virgie Ethridge; and her siblings, James Ethridge and Naomi Lou Whitmire.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Wheeler; her daughter Deborah Wilson (Thomas); her sister Marynell Chabino; her grandchildren, Alyse Selby (Robert), Brandon Wilson and Evan Wheeler; her great grandchildren, Aaron, Nathan and Alyzabeth Jeffries; her daughter-in-law Kellye Evans; and her granddaughter Kimberly Beers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John Ireland Funeral Home (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Oakcrest Church of Christ (1111 SW 89th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139).
