He is survived by: his children, Larry Turney Jr. (Crystal) of Purcell, Dorothy Gomes (LeRoy) of Purcell, Janet Groom (Danny) of Choctaw and Delta Handcock (Dora) of Purcell; his grandchildren, Amanda, Brandy, Brannon, Sarah, Justin, Anna, Levi, Dustin, Jacob, Jared, Wyatt and Henry; his great grandchildren, Rylee, Tallon, Logan, Grace, Brantlee, Cole, Crio, Allana, Grayson, Caden, Haley, Taylor, Murphy, Aubrey, Kaden, Ryan, Braden, Bailey, Saige, Hayden, Layne, Levi, Luke, Dakota, Aria and Landry; and his brothers, Jerry Turney (Beckie) and Ronnie Taylor.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dale Cemetery (36406 Westech Rd, Shawnee, OK 74804).
