He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Edward Fry and Marguerite Minnie Elizabeth Fry (Wehrenberg); and his sisters, Twila Skrobarcek, Lois Walton, Maxine Stephens and Carolyn Fry.

He is survived by: his wife Arma Lea Fry (Barker) of Moore, OK; his children, Shannon Lea Hooper (David Hooper) of Tulsa, OK and Scott Michael Fry of Tulsa, OK; his grandson Brennan Christopher Hooper of Tulsa, OK; his sisters, Edra Hawkins of Warr Acres, OK, Dorthey Del Rio of Edmond, OK and Doris Uhrig of Tecumseh, KS; his brother-in-law Robert Barker (Colleen Barker) of Guthrie, OK; and his cousins, Quondra Barham (Ron Osmus) of Mulhall, OK and Ronnie Skinner (Sandy Skinner) of Midwest City, OK. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
