With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Pamela Ruth Allen of Moore, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Pamela left this world on May 16, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Pamela may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Pamela touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peggy Raburn and Paul Raburn; and her son Lloyd Leroy Allen. She is survived by: her husband Jay David Allen; her son Aaron Jay Allen (Courtney); her grandchildren, Austin (Briana), Blake and Chase Allen; and her brother Rodney Raburn (Cleta Ann). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1300 E Washington Ave, McAlester, OK 74501).
