We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2025, at the age of 83, Patricia Jeanne McElhaney (Moore, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Franklin Asbury and Elizabeth Nance "Nancy" Ambrose Asbury; the father of her children Richard LeRoy Townsend; her brother Robert "Bob" Asbury; and her siblings-in-law, Robert "Bob" Townsend, David Townsend and Eulene Townsend.
She is survived by: her husband William "Jerry" McElhaney; her daughters, Pam Townsend and Paula Hodges; her grandchildren, Heath and Taylor Hodges; her siblings, Judy Davis (Ben) and Bill Asbury (Lynn); and her sisters-in-law, Jeanne Asbury and Denise Lindblad (Elven). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rosedale Cemetery (2020 N Oak Ave, Ada, OK 74820).
