He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Nelson; his children, Kandice (Raymond), Victory Nelson, Russel Cheatwood (Sherry), Matthew Johnson and Brandon Johnson; his siblings, Sheila Hill (Calvin) of Oklahoma City, Theresa Moss of Las Vegas, Nevada and Paul Nelson (Renea) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and his pets, Kate and Princess. He is also survived by his 25 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John Ireland Funeral Home (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
