He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Janz and Elizabeth Schmidt Janz; and his significant other Ruth Lucille Huff Janz (Huff). He is survived by: his children, Ray Lee Janz (Julia), Gene Janz (Katy), Carl Janz (Kathy) and Dorinda Shepherd (Ted); his grandchildren, Charles Janz (Alice), Robert Janz (Melissa), Jennifer Smart (Dustin), Stephanie Janz, Valerie Janz, Kristen Giles, Emily Pietsch (Cole) and Katrina Walker (Emmitt); and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Riley, Everett, Ryan, Connor, Elizabeth, Cooper and Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John Ireland Funeral Home (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church (3730 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071).
